Schechter’s capital campaigns have been successful in raising significant funds to renovate our facilities and strengthen our academic program. The Building for Continuity Campaign, completed in 1995, raised $4.3 million to purchase and renovate the Wells Avenue Shoolman Campus, to keep Schechter financially and academically accessible, and to achieve higher levels of excellence in math and science, the arts and sports. The Building for Excellence Campaign, completed in 2004, raised $10 million to renovate the Lower School Shaller Campus, to insure the continued excellence of the school program by building our endowment, and to fund initiatives in the areas of faculty and curriculum development, technology, performing arts, and capital improvement.

The Endowment Fund, established in 1979, currently totals $8 million. Managed by an Investment Committee, the Fund adds a critical measure of financial security to the school. The Finance Committee recommends to the Board of Trustees the appropriate use of income for school expenses.

The school anticipates embarking on a major gifts campaign in the near future to build its endowment.
