November-February, Friday dismissal time: 2:00 p.m. for grades K-3 and 2:10 p.m. for grades 4-8.
Extended Day: available for all ages until 6:00 p.m. (earlier for grades K-8 on Fridays, November-March)
Gan Shelanu offers a play-based program with both English and Hebrew-speaking certified early chlidhood specialists.
Kindergarten and grade 1 - students have one full-time teacher who incorporates Hebrew, Torah, Jewish holidays and customs within the school day.
In grades 2-5, students spend half the day with the general studies teacher and half with the Judaic studies teacher.
In grades 6-8, students are on a middle school schedule, where they change classrooms for each subject.

Schechter families come from over two dozen cities and towns, including Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, Framingham, Natick, Needham and Newton; hail from almost 30 different countries of origin; and, represent a wide-range of socio-economic backgrounds.
