Generations: A Campaign for Excellence and Affordability

Generations: Endowing our Future

A Campaign for Excellence and Affordability

The Generations Campaign supports our commitment to providing our students with a dynamic 21stcentury education, infused and enhanced by Jewish learning and values, to prepare our students for informed and active engagement in the Jewish community and the broader world.

To date, the Generations Campaign has raised $9.3 million in gifts and pledges for its endowment towards the goal of $12.5 million. The Generations Campaign will double the size of Schechter's pre-campaign endowment and help ensure a sustainable Jewish future for our children and future generations. The campaign seeks to bring Schechter’s endowment closer in line with other outstanding independent schools that are known for academic excellence and innovation.

“Schechter taught me critical thinking, how to build a community and how to take ownership of my own Jewish life and identity.” - Schechter Alumna

$2.5 Million Gift Challenge

Generations has gained strong momentum thanks to a generous challenge put forward by philanthropists George and Lizbeth Krupp, who agreed to match all eligible gifts designated for middle income affordability up to $2.5 million. The Krupps are avid day school supporters who believe deeply in the vital leadership contribution that graduates of these schools make to the broader Jewish and secular communities. The Krupps are committed to continuing to make Schechter affordable to a broad cross-section of Jewish families.
