Lower School Hebrew Teacher (Part or Full Time)

Schechter Boston is currently hiring a Lower School Hebrew Teacher to teach Kindergarten Hebrew and provide small group lessons to native Hebrew speakers in grades K–3.

Job Description:

In collaboration with our Hebrew Team Lead, you will:

  • Design, plan and implement lessons that motivate students and create active learning experiences.

  • Prepare and implement differentiated instruction, activities and assessments that meet the needs of every student. 

  • Build relationships with all students, so they are actively engaged in the classroom activities.

  • Create and maintain a safe, well-structured physical environment that is conducive to student learning.

Requirements:

  • Native Hebrew Speaker

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

  • Minimum of two years experience teaching students, preferably teaching Hebrew as a foreign language in an elementary school setting.

  • Strong pedagogical skills and a collaborative spirit.

We are especially interested in candidates who bring experience teaching Hebrew as a second language in elementary grades and are eager to contribute to curriculum design, peer coaching, or departmental growth.
