PreK Teacher Full Time 2025-2026
Schechter Boston is looking to hire a full-time, dynamic, and engaging Pre-K Teacher for the 2025-2026 academic year. The ideal candidate will work 5 days per week from 7:30 am to 4 pm.
Job Description:
The Teacher provides support to classroom teachers by working with students individually and in small groups. The Teacher will spend time working with individual students as well as prepare classroom materials, planning, record keeping, and any other duties deemed appropriate. The Pre-k Teacher reports to the Team Lead of Student Experience for Pre-K.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required.
EEC Teacher certification and at least one year of classroom experience are preferred and will consider practicum placements as experience.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 50 pounds or more
Ability to effectively meet and deal with a variety of students with different learning profiles, and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
