Important Dates
Priority Registration:
Opens Tuesday, November 18 at 10:00 a.m. through Sunday, November 30. Registration during this period does not guarantee placement in a class. A lottery will be conducted for high-demand classes after the priority registration period ends.Class Placement Notifications:
Families will be notified by Friday, December 5.Drop Deadline for Refund:
Monday, December 8. After this date, full refunds are not available.Open Registration:

Class Placement Notifications
Parents will be notified about class placements by Friday, December 5.
Parents who do not wish to keep their class placement must notify us by Monday, December 8. After that date full refunds will not be available. See refund policy below.
Students who are waitlisted or closed out of classes will have the opportunity to make a second choice.
Open Registration
Begins Tuesday, December 9 at 10:00 a.m. for classes with remaining spots.
Refund Policy
Cancellations must be received by Monday, December 8 to receive a refund minus a $35 processing fee. After this date there will be refunds only for extenuating circumstances.
Full refunds will be made if a class is canceled due to insufficient enrollment.
Full refunds will be issued if your child is not placed in the class for which they registered during priority registration.
Private Music Lessons
Private Music Lessons: Pre-Kindergarten-Grade 8 (3:00-6:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday)
Weekly half-hour, private music lessons. If you are interested in music lessons, please fill out this Google Form.
Do not register for lessons until you have been assigned a day and time.

After School Hours and Extended Play
Please register for these programs during our priority registration period. Because of the Stein Circle Campus construction work, it is very important for us to have a good sense of the number of students that will be staying in order to help us plan staffing and programming that best meets your children’s needs.
Bussing
If your child will be riding one of the 4:00/4:05 buses home on Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday, you must register for Afterschool Hour or an Enrichment Class.
Extended Day
Extended Day is for families who need full-afternoon care after dismissal. Students rotate through activities like art, STEM, cooking, outdoor/indoor play, homework time, and social time. After 4:05 p.m. programming happens only at the Stein Circle Campus. Grades 4–8 from the Wells Avenue Campus are shuttled there if they are registered

Afterschool Hour
Afterschool Hour is for families who want to have their children stay at Schechter for only one hour after the regular school day ends. Students can participate in a variety of activities such as art, science, building, games or enjoy supervised free play/recess. Grades 4-5 will also be able to work on homework in a supervised study hall.

Drop-In Option
For occasional childcare needs. Students may stay for one hour or the full afternoon, depending on what’s needed that day. Parents must update dismissal plans in SchoolPass before drop-in.

Sports Galore Jr. (Grades K–1)
3:00–4:00 p.m. | $300
A fast-moving class where students try different sports and gym games each week. They practice coordination, teamwork, and confidence through activities like soccer, kickball, relay races, and more. A great way to burn energy at the end of the school day.
Indoor Tennis Lessons (Grades 1–3)
3:00–4:00 p.m. or 4:00–5:00 p.m. | $600
Students learn tennis fundamentals through drills and games focused on footwork, racquet skills, and rallying. The class builds hand–eye coordination and introduces point play in an encouraging environment.
Students in the 4:00–5:00 p.m. class may join Afterschool Hour beforehand at no cost.
Cheerleading & Dance Elite (Grades 2–3)
3:00–4:00 p.m. | $350
A fun mix of cheer jumps, basic stunts, and dance choreography. Students learn routines, build strength and rhythm, and practice performing as a team. The class includes a simple end-of-session performance.
Musical Theater Presents “Peter Pan” (Grades 4–5)
3:20–5:45 p.m. | $500
Students rehearse and perform the story of Peter Pan through acting, singing, staging, and choreography. This program supports students new to theater as well as those with experience, offering a complete production from auditions to final performance.
Important Dates: Begins January 26. Extra rehearsals on May 17 and May 21. Tech Week runs May 26–31. Performances are June 1 and 2.
