Tuition 2021-2022

Tuition is an essential component of our annual budget, supporting approximately 72 percent of our annual expenses. We continually strive to balance affordability with the costs of implementing our outstanding educational program. We are excited about the investments we are making in our faculty, technology and facilities so that our students are receiving an outstanding education which fosters critical thinking and a strong sense of Jewish identity.

Schechter is committed to providing tuition assistance to help make a Schechter education affordable to all its families. In response to the many varied circumstances of families, we offer an array of affordability program.

Presenting Schechter is our newest program created in partnership with a generous donor in order to bring the first years of school at Schechter within greater reach for more families. Eligible families who are new to Jewish day school can now qualify for $10,000 off of tuition in Kindgergarten-Grade 2. Families can access this grant one, two or three years depending on the starting grade.

Tierd iCap is designed for simplicity and ease by enabling families to anticipate their core tuition obligation year after year. Tuition is based on a grid of the family's Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) as listed on their most recent federal tax return and the number of children enrolled at Schechter in Kindergarten-Grade 8.

Traditional Financial Aid is a needs-based program that takes into account the family income, expenses, assets, liabilities, family size, cost of living and the number of children in tution chargins schools among other variables.

"My initial phone call with Schechter's Admission Office put me at ease. The warmth and openness of the admission officers made us feel so welcome and they made it a point to get to know my child and what we were looking for so that they could be most helpful." - Schechter parent
