Early Childhood Teacher (Immediate Opening)

Schechter Boston is looking for an EEC Certified Teacher to join Gan Shelanu, our Early Childhood Program for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will have experience and a love for working with children. We are looking for someone who can create a nurturing and exciting environment for young learners.

Job Duties:

  • Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum for young children.

  • Develop activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of children.

  • Clearly and effectively communicate with children, parents and staff.

  • Supervise children at all times.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate must be warm, nurturing and passionate about working with young children.

  • EEC certification required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree and background in education/early childhood education preferred.

  • Two years of relevant work experience, preferred.

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift 50 pounds.

Details:

  • Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-3:30PM

  • Competitive pay range $42,000-$75,000; commensurate with experience.
