Inclusion Specialist (Full-Time 2026-2027)

Schechter Boston is looking to hire a full-time Inclusion Specialist . The ideal candidate will work 5 days per week 8am-4pm with students across grades PreK-2 and support teachers within those classrooms. Additional work hours are available in our After School Program (until 6pm).  

Essential Duties

  • Maximize student learning by managing a case load of students exhibiting patterns of acute behavior

  • Support students during classroom activities, assist with transitions, and work with students in small-group settings within the classroom

  • Design and implement individualized behavior plans

  • Communicate with families about status and progress

  • Support teachers in providing accommodations for students

  • Reports directly to the Team Lead for Support or their designee at Stein Campus.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

  • At least three years of prior experience supporting students with behavioral or social-emotional challenges in a school setting.

  • Ability to effectively meet and deal with a variety of students with different learning profiles, and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Pay & Benefits:

  • Salary: Competitive pay range $25-$35/hour; commensurate with experience, education and certification.
