About Jamie

Jamie brings over 25 years of experience working with children and families in a Kindergarten-Grade 8 school setting. Before joining Schechter, she worked for Boston Public Schools first as a School Counselor and then as a Dean of School Climate. During the covid years Jamie worked as a private practitioner but has always been happiest when working in a dynamic school setting.

  • B.A., Psychology with a minor in Education and Fine Arts, Stonehill College

  • M.S., Counseling Psychology from Boston College

  • LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor)

Jamie has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and enjoys kick boxing.
