Presenting Schechter

The first years of school at Schechter are now within greater reach for more families. Eligible families who are new to a Jewish day school education can now qualify for $10,000 off of tuition annually in Kindergarten through second grade. Families can access this grant for one, two or three years depending on the starting grade.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Presenting Schechter is available for families with a child entering Kindergarten, first or second grade who have not previously attended a Jewish day school.

  • The tuition grant will be issued as follows:

    • For students entering Kindergarten, $10,000 per year for three years

    • For students entering Grade 1, $10,000 per year for two years

    • For students entering Grade 2, $10,000 per year for one year

  • 2025 AGI must be between $0 and $600,000

  • Family assets (excluding primary residence and retirement - 401k, 403b, IRA, etc.) must be less than $500,000.

  • Families must submit a new application and meet eligibility requirements each year.

  • Presenting Schechter is available for children entering Kindergarten through Grade 2 only.

  • Students who attended Schechter’s Pre-Kindergarten and are the first in their family to attend a Jewish day school in Kindergarten through Grade 8 are eligible to apply.
