Leading the school’s multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) by overseeing processes for identifying student needs, designing interventions, monitoring progress, and coordinating communication with families and external service providers.
Strengthening faculty capacity to meet diverse learning and social-emotional needs through consultation, professional development, classroom observations, and the development of shared tools and practices.
Coordinating student support plans, including behavior plans, academic interventions, social-emotional supports, and accommodations informed by psychological and neuropsychological evaluations.
Partnering closely with families to ensure that communication about student needs is proactive, clear, compassionate, and grounded in shared problem solving.
Ensuring strong record keeping and data-informed decision making, including maintaining student support documentation, progress monitoring systems, and communication logs.
Building and sustaining relationships with community-based clinicians, agencies, and service providers to support students whose needs extend beyond what the school can directly provide.
Provide direct service to a caseload of students (learning support or counseling)
